SMS Troubleshooting

Check your settings
The biggest cause of problems is your settings in Mobile Delivery Preferences.
Please check that your country, carrier and phone number are correct.

Remove leading characters, country codes, zeroes, ones and dashes off your phone number:

+1646-555-12345
or
1646-555-12345
or
001646-555-12345

Should all be entered as:
64655512345

Sending SMS/MMS or e-mail to Socialight

Some phones can send all three types, others can only send one or two. Whatever type you use, any the messages you send to us MUST go to: m@socialight.com

Create a new contact on your phone called socialight and enter m@socialight.com as their e-mail address. Then you can send us messages just like anyone else in your address book!

Note:
Some phones will not let you send a text message to an email address like m@socialight.com. In that case create a multimedia or e-mail message instead. (What can we say, some phones are stupid :)
